Class Regulations
- Rider Age: 6 to 13 years.
- Special Age Exception: Riders aged 5 years and 9 months who have completed training to a sufficient level at one of the FAB-Racing recognised Academies will be able to be entered for pre-event practice at a FAB-Racing race event for assessment.
- Rider Eligibility:
- Hi-Viz: For their first events (including Friday practice), all new Rookies must wear a Hi-Viz bib.
- Class Restriction: Rookie riders are not permitted to enter any additional class.
- Experience Assessment: If a new rider with previous experience wishes to enter, FAB-Racing will decide if they should race as a Rookie or in the AC40 INTERS class.
- Promotion: This class is not a Championship but for experience. Riders finishing in the top 6 of the 2024 series, or who achieved 3 or more overall podiums in that season, must enter the AC40 INTER class.
- Machine Regulations (Blata RM10S):
- Engine: Must use the Blata RM10 Motor with the 10mm M4 Exhaust Restrictor fitted (£5) and sealed with a FAB-Racing Seal (£5).
- Carburettor: Must remain the factory Dellorto PHVA14.
- Stock Requirements: Engines must be stock with a 0.3mm base gasket, standard reeds, and standard ignition timing. Crankshaft, piston, and flywheel must be original Blata RM10S parts.
- Prohibited Modifications: No porting, polishing, or removal of metal from the engine.
- Permitted Changes: Any clutch, Polini 143.600.001 Ignition Coil, and Spark Plug NGK BR9EG or BR9EIX.
- Chassis: All components must be original, except footrest hangers which may be aftermarket adjustable ones.
