MK-MiniGP70 (9.5-16 yrs)

MK-MiniGP70 Class

• Rider Age: 10 years & 6 months to 15 years.
  • Exception: Riders from 9 years & 6 months may apply if they have raced at least 6 rounds in the MK-MiniGP50 class and shown good ability.
  • Restriction: MK-MiniGP70 riders are NOT permitted to enter Junior Minimoto Classes (except Jnr.LC40 Elite).
• Machine Eligibility:
  • MK-MiniGP70 motorcycles as supplied by FAB-Racing.
  • Must remain unmodified except for permitted changes (same as MK-MiniGP50) with the following exceptions:
• Class Specific Differences:
  • Carburettor: Must be 28mm MRD1, MRD2, or BRK (supplied by FAB-Racing). Main jet, pilot jet, and slide needle may be changed. No other modifications.
  • Race Numbers: Yellow Background & Black Numbers.

Common Regulations (MiniGP50 & 70)

• Bodywork: Pattern fairings/glassfibre allowed (copies of original Metrakit MK-GP50/70). No Carbon Fibre. Full fairing must be fitted.
• Coolant: Distilled, de-ionised, or tap water only (no additives).
• Noise: Max 98db.
• Fuel: Standard roadside pump fuel (no additives other than pre-mix lubricant).
• Scrutineering: Machines may be probed or stripped for checks. Infringements lead to loss of points.
